IELTS Speaking Teachers' Attitudes towards Oral Corrective Feedback: A Pedagogical Perspective

Corrective feedback (CF) refers to a pedagogical technique that provides learners with information about their errors or mistakes and helps correct them. It can take the form of both oral written feedback. In this study, main focus is on corrective (OCF). Oral (OCF) enhance accuracy expression, which crucial for IELTS exam. However, incorrect usage might have negative impact students. This study investigated attitudes teachers towards use OCF from perspective by adopting qualitative method. Six varying years experience in teaching speaking were interviewed. The findings indicate guided consideration students' feelings. Teachers generally exhibit positive OCF, although there suggestion they lack systematic training knowledge topic. Therefore, it important teacher programs incorporate relevant content OCF.
